Bitsela Artz
Images for Building Jewish Web Sites

Whether you are designing a new web site, or updating an existing one, you'll find the Bitsela CD-ROM is a well-organized, easy-to-use and time-saving resource. We think you'll love owning a copy of it!
Rules
Graphic, horizontal rules can be placed on your web page to visually separate different
topics or parts of the page. On the CD you'll find rules in several styles and
colors. Here is one of our favorites:

Buttons
The CD includes over 300 buttons for web site navigation. These include buttons with
words, buttons with symbols, and plain buttons to which you can add your own labels.
Many are coordinate in color or style with banners, bullets, backgrounds and other images
on the CD.

Fun with Hebrew
On the new Bitsela CD you'll find over 600 graphic Hebrew letters and words, web-ready to
decorate your pages. This category also includes the names for the weekly Torah
portions, calendar months and holidays - all in Hebrew, of course.

"Antique" drop caps were inspired by the calligraphy found in 17th Century Prayer books and are rendered in two colors: turquoise and the orange shown here.

The graphics below were taken from our sets of web icons.

Animations
The CD includes a small collection of animated GIF images, with a Jewish flair! Use
these to decorate your web pages or include them in e-mail messages. In addition to
this "Challah Guy", you'll find little "Shalom" greetings in English
and Hebrew, Stars of David, and even a chicken that walks!

Bullets
These small graphics can be used to emphasize items in a list or to bring attention to a
particular header, phrase or paragraph. You'll find more than 300 bullets on the CD,
including arrows, musical symbols, and more. Many styles are offered in several
color choices. Here are a few examples:
Banners
Brighten up your web page by placing a colorful banner at the top. The CD includes
banners that greet your visitor with the word Shalom, and banners to which you can add the
name of your organization. Banner designs include colorful Stars of David, Jerusalem
Skylines, Lion of Judah Bookends and more, such as this prayer shawl:

Style Sheets
Bitsela styles are a great way to jump-start your web site project. Each of
the 18 styles includes a set of graphic images that have been coordinated to provide an
integrated "look" for your web pages. In addition to styles that are
appropriate for any Jewish site, you'll find themes such as Noah's Ark and Jewish
Cooking. This image is from our Hanukkah style:

Backgrounds
Background images provide a colorful left border, or a patterned or textured background
for your web pages. Many on our CD are color coordinated to go well
with our bullets, banners, rules and buttons.
Web-Art
In this category, you'll find 232 colorful web-ready images. Looking for a
Shofar? A Dreidel? An Israeli Flag? How about a matzo on roller skates?
Here's where you'll find these images and many, many others, such as this Lulav:

Photographs from Israel
This is a collection of eighteen photographs that represent various themes such as the
Holocaust, archeology, architecture and travel. All were taken in Israel and have
been digitally modified for web presentation. Each is framed with a colored
border or drop shadow.
Web Greetings
Place these large, colorful images on the home page of your site to greet and welcome your
visitors.

Jewish Word Fun
This collection of over 800 images includes words in English and English transliteration,
arranged alphabetically and rendered in two sizes. Use these images as page banners,
column or paragraph headers or navigation buttons. Some words are presented in
several unique fonts and colors. Other words, such as the names of the Hebrew
Months, belong to a set having the same style throughout. Additional style-sets
include words that can be combined to make the name of your Jewish Organization (for
example, combine Temple and Shalom if your organization is Temple Shalom), words that can
be used in your on-line Judaica Shop, the names for the weekly Torah Portions and more.
